Pokemon Scarlet and Violet struck a chord with Pokemon fans yet again following the release of a new gameplay trailer early this morning.

Within the trailer was a slew of new features that were coming to the game, such as being able to take selfies with your Pokemon, a quick-battle mode that allows your Pokemon to quickly fight in the wild, as well as bathing and making picnic sandwiches.

Judging by the memes and reactions so far today, these features were widely accepted by much of the community, seemingly happy that the game is taking a more lifestyle-branded focus for the scenic and relaxing generation in Paldea.

The centerpiece of the gameplay trailer, however, came in the form of a new evolution for everyone's beloved generation 2 giraffe Pokemon, Girafarig.

This evolution, called Farigiraf, has the two heads combining together into one, making the back head now resemble something of a hoodie that will shut itself during some move animations, possibly as the Pokemon concentrates on its psychic powers.

This was seen as a good thing by many, with much love (and fan art) coming to a Pokemon that hasn't had any decent interaction from the main company in over two decades.
