This past weekend, video game rental service GameFly leaked the name of what appears to be an upcoming fighting game from the people at Nickelodeon called "Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl," immediately bringing images of Super Smash Bros. to the minds of gamers across the web.

According to the now-removed entry posted by GameFly this weekend, the game is set to release on October 5th on the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles, however, the accuracy of this information is still unconfirmed as no official statement about the game has been made. That hasn't stopped the internet from imagining what a Nickelodeon-themed fighting game might entail, inspiring Twitter users to make character predictions in typical Smash fandom fashion.

Not everyone was excited about the upcoming fighting game though. Some users accused Nickelodeon of ripping off Smash Bros. with the game, and of ripping off Nintendo's Mario Kart series in the past with their Nickelodeon Kart Racers series. It remains to be seen, however, just how much, if at all, All-Stars Brawl will borrow from its Nintendo-driven counterpart.
