Nicki Minaj Is Coming To 'Call Of Duty' For Some Reason, Giving Gamers No Choice But To Meme
Pulling up in the Monster to Call of Duty is Nicki Minaj, who will become a playable DLC character for Modern Warfare II and Warzone at the opening of Season 5 on August 2nd.
While Call of Duty has sold skins of real-world figures as DLC before, Minaj is the first female celebrity to make it into the game. Kevin Durant and Lionel Messi have appeared in CoD before, while Nicki joins Snoop Dogg and 21 Savage as part of the game's "50 Years of Hip-hop" celebration promotion.
The idea of players using Nicki Minaj to destroy Call of Duty lobbies was certainly eye-catching for many on social media, as both fans and noobs expressed interest in picking up the skin for the novelty of it — as well as the meme potential.

It's unclear how much the Nicki Minaj skin will cost or if she's contributed any songs to the game. It is clear that she has contributed some voiceover work, which means CoD players will soon be able to hear Minaj's dulcet tones as they get curb-stomped.
