Perennial internet favorite Nicolas Cage has trended once again, this time for merely getting photographed in costume for his role as Dracula in the upcoming film Renfield. Reader, be warned: They are particularly ghoulish.

The shots from People Magazine show the actor in extremely pale makeup and a velvet suit that would make Arthur Fleck jealous. Renfield appears to be a romantic comedy starring Nicholas Hoult in the title role, playing one of Dracula's henchmen who leaves after falling in love.

Speculation on the plot of the film, scheduled for release 13 months from now with a release date set for April 13th, 2023, took a backseat to the sheer awe Cage's getup inspired online.

Cage is having a minor renaissance of late, thanks to his recent film, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, in which Cage plays himself. At any rate, it appears we're destined to receive another excellent clip of Cage to add to his YouTube reels.
