Popstar Rebecca Black hopped aboard the Andrew Tate hate train this morning with a tweet comparing his song “Sugar Daddy” to the track that made her go viral over a decade ago: “Friday.”

Since Tate was arrested on human trafficking charges last week, people have been going viral on Twitter by dunking on the controversial ex-kickboxer. Perhaps the reigning queen of Tate dunks (at least according to many on Twitter) has so far been climate activist Greta Thunberg, whose tweet calling out Tate for having "small dick energy" has become the fourth most-liked tweet of all time.

This morning, Rebecca Black then made her own viral dunk after retweeting a clip of a rap song Tate made called "Sugar Daddy" (which many have recently deemed cringeworthy), writing, "I was 13 this man is 36." The tweet is of course referencing "Friday," a song that Black recorded when she was 13 that was deemed so notoriously bad it made her a viral subject of hate and countless memes. In a short 12 hours, the tweet gained over 256,000 likes, 16,000 retweets and 18 million views.

The responses to the tweet have been copious, inspiring another wave of Tate memes and criticism alongside immense support for Black, who is currently in the process of rolling out her upcoming album Let Her Burn. The tweet has also inspired a lot of users to admit to their love of "Friday," with one user even writing, "We listen to it every single Friday. Not kidding."

Let Her Burn is set to release early this year sometime in "early 2023," though no official release date has yet been stated.
