"Sugar Daddy" is a rap song and music video by Andrew Tate released around early 2019 and deleted on an unknown date. The song became a subject of criticism in the years following its release, touted as poorly written, rapped and generally cringeworthy by many. In January 2023, Rebecca Black posted a viral tweet criticizing the song, comparing it to her song "Friday."
Origin
On an unknown date in early 2019, Andrew Tate uploaded a music video for his original song "Sugar Daddy" to YouTube. The video has been deleted but was shared on /r/Music[1] on February 27th, 2019. This is the earliest known time the video was shared. On May 24th, 2022, TikToker[2] @mk2funny_ posted a clip of the video, garnering over 214,000 views in eight months. On July 18th the full video was then posted to YouTube[3] by Top G Clips, garnering over 900 views in six months (shown below).

"Sugar Daddy" became a subject of criticism throughout 2022 as Tate became increasingly prominent and controversial online. For example, on July 19th, 2022, the H3 Podcast highlights YouTube[4] channel uploaded a clip from an episode where the hosts react to the music video and other deleted Tate videos, garnering over 129,000 views in six months (shown below).
On December 29th, following Andrew Tate's Human Trafficking Arrest, Twitter[5] user @Nezzzooo posted a clip from the music video, writing, "Andrew Tate Needed to be arrested for dropping this anyway," garnering over 50,000 likes and 5,200 retweets in a week.
Rebecca Black vs. Andrew Tate
On January 6th, 2023, Rebecca Black quote-retweeted @nezzzooo's post on Twitter[6] writing, "I was 13 this man is 36," referencing the hate she got at 13 years old for recording the viral song "Friday." The tweet gained over 281,000 likes and 17,000 retweets in under a day (shown below). That day, Dexerto[7] published an article on the tweet.
