The upcoming Robert Pattinson Batman film is closing in. With a trailer expected to drop over the weekend, a teaser was released that finally revealed the Batman voice that Pattinson will be using.

This is seen as a pretty big deal, as Batman's voice really sets the tone for the movie, and Christian Bale's gruff and sometimes hard-to-understand Bat-voice was often the subject of jokes, memes and criticism in his first outing as the Dark Knight. Coming as a surprise to many, Pattinson's take on the voice has generated some hype for the full trailer drop and the movie as a whole since its reveal.

THE BATMAN is nearly three hours long. It’s a full on detective noir epic. The story takes place during the week of Halloween. Batman keeps a journal & it’s read to the audience in voiceover.

Between the newly revealed Batman voice, rumors about the movie themes and length, plenty were quick to start comparing Pattinson to previous Batmen.

I love Michael Keaton as Batman
I love Christian Bale as Batman
I love Ben Affleck as Batman
