Series Finale For 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Show Met With Largely Lukewarm Response Online
Wednesdays used to be known as "Obi-Wan Kenobi days," as that was the day newer episodes of the Kenobi show would come out on Disney+, peeling back another layer of the Jedi Master Obi-Wan as he heroically breaks continuity with his daring rescue of Princess Leia from the clutches of Inquisitors (who some say look worse in real life than their 2-D counterparts).
Before the show had even run its course, Disney had already decided to start streaming Miss Marvel on Wednesdays, directly competing with Kenobi while also preparing fans for the end.
Yesterday, the end did finally arrive after a near-constant build-up over six episodes, so it was finally time for the big finale to take viewers home, and to some, it really did. People almost immediately began flocking to Twitter to share their favorite moments from the series finale.

Most fans of the show focused solely on the fight between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader (aka Anakin Skywalker), as it consumed a good chunk of the runtime while also giving both characters a chance to flex their power, but in the end, Kenobi was once-again victorious over his former apprentice.
However, because the show takes place between Star Wars Episodes III and IV, and Vader is obviously still alive in IV, Obi-Wan apparently had to have a heart-to-heart talk with Vader before letting him go to commit further atrocities, despite knowing full well he could stop them if he chose to.
This was seen as one facet of the writing and continuity that many people reference as being lacking in the show, compared to other Star Wars shows such as The Mandalorian.

Kenobi finale was not bad, but I felt like it (probably at the insistence of the studio) used up half its run time on some (admittedly very cool) fan service and left its own story with very little room to breathe as a result.
By no means terrible tho.#ObiWanKenobi— Daniel Orrett (The Sojourn, Spacedock) (@SpacedockHQ) June 22, 2022
The ending scene did quite a number on the fans though, as it included both Kenobi finally getting to meet Luke, in which he delivered his iconic Hello There line (and prequel meme reference), but it also had the moment when Kenobi meets his old master Qui-gon Jin as a force ghost and tries to use that as a bridge between this series and Episode IV.

Whether the series finale and ultimate conclusion was "good" or "bad" in the eyes of fans, it certainly restocked a slew of new meme material around the web in Kenobi's aftermath.
