As the Little Miss memes have grown tiresome, some are claiming that they're on their official last leg after the Israel Defense Forces, also known as the IDF, shared its own Little Miss memes on Instagram this Tuesday.

The three variations IDF shared were "Little Miss Sails A Sa'ar 6 Corvette Through The Sea," "Little Miss Combats Terrorism In The Middle East" and "Little Miss Flies A F-15 Fighter Jet Like A Boss."

The IDF captioned its Instagram post, "Little Miss soldier for the win," and over the course of two days, it received roughly 24,800 likes, as well as numerous comments under the image series.

The idea that the IDF was posting Little Miss memes was an absurd concept to some, who specifically screenshotted "Little Miss Combats Terrorism In The Middle East" and reposted it to platforms like Twitter. For instance, Twitter user @brndxix expressed disbelief in a tweet yesterday, writing, "What the fuck is going on" in their caption.

From @brndxix's reposting, the IDF's post became a trending topic on social media, with many Twitter users uploading their humorous reactions. Many of these reactions centered on the perceived "unfunniness" of the entire Little Miss meme trend. Other reactions were more centered on the IDF's meme, exploiting it in subsequent, critical remixes.

The conversation even circled back to Instagram, where users and pages started to tag the purported creator of the trend, Instagram user @juulpuppy. No comment is necessarily expected from @juulpuppy, but the idea that the IDF added to their trend seemed to come full circle to the meme's death for many internet users.
