Tiffany Gomas, from her viral meme, and a tweet by her discussing the latest controversy around her beer bikini photo.

Tiffany Gomas, the woman famous for a public freakout on a plane that became one of the most viral memes of 2023, has seemingly joined forces with Ultra Right Beer.

Yesterday, Gomas posted a photo of herself wearing a bikini emblazoned with the beer company's logo and insists she did it for free, not as a paid partnership.

Ultra Right Beer started in 2023, around the same time as Gomas' "that mother----er is not real" moment became internet-famous. The beer company grew out of the right-wing boycott of Bud Light, which was triggered by Budweiser's decision to hire Dylan Mulvaney, a trans woman, as a promotional partner.

Ultra Right Beer, which bills itself as "woke-free beer," launched with a highly memed video last April that featured its founder Seth Weathers drinking alcohol in a public bathroom and hitting a baseball.

Since then, Ultra Right Beer has leaned into the use of swimsuit-clad women as a marketing technique. Over Christmas last year, a pin-up calendar produced by Ultra Right Beer featuring female conservative influencers caused a ruckus on right-wing X / Twitter, leading to a so-called Calendargate scandal that pitted the conservative Christian side of the movement against a more secular populist side.

The latest promotion by Tiffany Gomas currently causing a surge of discourse seems to fit with this marketing tactic.

Gomas appeared to delight in the discussions she stirred up, but pushed back on The Daily Mail, which reported that she had been paid to do the picture.

Gomas shot back at the claim, stating that she did it for free, which Weathers himself also noted in a reply of his own. However, the exposure and credibility that a partnership with Ultra Right Beer earns Gomas in right-wing online spaces might be its own reward.

After an initial period of not engaging at all with the media following her viral moment on the airplane, Gomas did a series of collaborations with the Pardon My Take podcast.

Now, it looks like she may be seeking new partnerships with the online right as an avenue for continuing her career as an influencer.
