Last night, a draft of a reported decision from the United States Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade leaked to Politico, setting off a wave of outrage from all sides of the political spectrum.

From the right, people are furious the draft leaked, believing it was done in a malicious attempt to sabotage the court. From the left, people are furious that the landmark case guaranteeing abortion rights in the U.S. could soon be overturned, particularly in a time period when Democrats control the House of Representatives, Senate and Presidency.

As is the wont of the political left on Twitter, the blame game started flying. While leftists were furious that the Biden administration has thus far failed to secure a woman's right to choose despite his campaign promise to do so, some liberals once again took the opportunity to relitigate the 2016 election and blame every bogeyman of the ill-fated Hillary Clinton campaign. Enter self-professed KHive member @TheSaladShooter, who unleashed a wild thread throwing the blame on every leftist politician and shitposter online.

The thread starts off with stereotypical scapegoats from a Clinton supporter: Bernie Sanders, Susan Sarandon and Jill Stein, three people who drew the ire of Clinton supporters for purportedly depressing the turnout for Clinton in the 2016 election (cartoonist Walter Bragman also makes an appearance in the first tweet, a sign of things to come).

It begins going off the rails as it stretches to an incredible length and more and more people are caught under TheSaladShooter's blanket of blame: Chapo Trap House hosts, Jack Dorsey, Jimmy Fallon, Rachel Maddow and a whole host of people one must be deeply online to recognize are held to the fire in their thread.

The thread inadvertently made for an incredible meme template, as soon Twitter users began adding their own candidates to blame for the potential reversal of Roe vs. Wade.

It seems we will never be free from litigating the 2016 Presidential Election on Twitter, but at the very least, we can count on some good memes coming out of it.
