Walmart Dunks On Senator Josh Hawley For Saying He'll Object To Election Results
Walmart has apologized to Missouri Senator Josh Hawley for calling him a "sore loser" on Twitter after Hawley announced he was going to object when Congress meets to certify the Electoral College election results next week.
Hawley's challenge is almost certainly going nowhere, which Walmart (or rather, someone on Walmart's social media team), noted in their tweet.
"Go ahead. Get your 2 hour debate. #soreloser," it wrote.

Walmart quickly deleted the tweet and issued an apology to media outlets, saying, "The tweet was mistakenly posted by a member of our social media team who intended to publish this comment to their personal account. We have removed the post and have no intention of commenting on the subject of certifying the electoral college."
Hawley took it on the chin and gave it right back to Walmart.
Thanks @Walmart for your insulting condescension. Now that you’ve insulted 75 million Americans, will you at least apologize for using slave labor? pic.twitter.com/oYJP4Cv2qE

While the tweet was clearly sent in error, Twitter users joked that Walmart had joined the Resistance.
Welcome to the Resistance…………….Walmart. https://t.co/vGsf4c2e72
