You Can Now Play 'Among Us' In 'Fortnite' With A New Official Mode
Fortnite players are now able to play the game's own version of Among Us as Epic Games has introduced the "Impostors" mode to the battle royale game.
This morning, Fortnite developer Epic Games presented "Impostors," a new 10-player mode rolling out today. The game mechanics are clearly inspired by Among Us (which, in turn, borrows them from the party game Mafia), as the players are divided into uneven teams of "agents" and "imposters." Eight agents are tasked with doing various objectives around the base as two impostors have to even the numbers by killing them and not getting found out.
The mode takes place in the facilities of Imagined Order, which is a faction that was first introduced in the second season of chapter two of the game. Similar to the indie game it's inspired by, agents have to complete assignments such as calibrating chests and repairing the Battle Bus, while impostors get to disrupt their activities and seek out opportunities to kill them off.
Same as in Among Us, players get to call emergency meetings and vote sussy individuals out. Agents can achieve victory by either completing all the tasks or disposing of both impostors, while impostors have to murder enough agents to even the ranks.

While "Impostors" is Epic's official take on Among Us, it's not the first such mode for Fortnite. Last December, the game already featured a fan-made The Spy Within mode that had players seeking out two murderous spies among their midst.
