Nameless One Remember the last time we tried to explain King Crimson's powers? Well, we were outshined by this helpful fellow who contacted us Let 's use Nameless One timeline, wherc T1 is the time point at which King Crimson initiates its power, and T2 is when its power ends What actually happens in this case is that the two time points get crached together There actually no time anymore along the timelinc between those two points of King Crimson power being activated and then running out. The timc T2 basically gets pulled back to T1, climinating all the time points inbetween And that's really all that happens Theres a few points to make about the effects this has though 1 Nobody actually loses their memory of this section of time, or has their memory directly affected in any way. Why they can 't "remember" it s because it didn 't actually happen anymore Saying people forget" about t in't really even applicable, since you can 't rcally forget something that docsn 't happen 2. Any events or effects that would have taken place during this erased period of time also do not exist anymore.. sincc you can't have results from an cvent that didn't happen In other words, if someone attacked or injured within this crased timc (and not outzide of it), then sincc that attack/injury didn't happen anymore, any recults that would have happened from that event aso do not happen To put it simply, you can't have effects without a cause; erase the cause, and you crase the effects 3. The Boss and King Crimson are affccted in exactly the same way as everyone eke by this time eraal In other words, whilc the effects of any attacks against the Boss within this crased period of time get effectively nullified, the effects from any of King Crimson s actions within that time bothe attacking Bucciarati of the portions of time he' erazing, for insta cts of him attackine Bucciarati would bc crased in cxactly dircctly within the same way as the effects of Bucciarati's attacks on him get erased. Note that what he does do instead attack Bucciarati directly after the time erasal completed, when Bucciarati dicoriented from the sudden movement chifts Which brings us to the last point 4. The location of things after the time crasal gets determined by the T2 time, not the Tl time This is where it gets a little confusing, but it may help if you think of it this way: conzider that what King Crimson does is basically, whilc he' remaining at T1, reaches forward in time to T2, and drags that T2 point backwards to T1, collapsing all of the time inbetween (this is why imultancouzly in the same frame, to try to illustrate him "collapsing" time together) The effects between T1 and T2 get nullified as a recult effectively crushed out of existencc α; the two time points are brought together, But all of the location data at T2 (and afterwards) remain along To comment on Nameless Onc s comparison to Dio ' The World, t's actually cxtremely diffcrent from The World think of The World as basically just spceding itself (and Dio) up to incredibly fast speeds for a single moment of time, allowing Dio to do 5 second's worth of stuff in the span of some ineredibly short amount of "rcaltime" (like 0. 0001 milliseconds or something) King Crimzon is actually messing with the cntire timeli onc ou can arts of the comic show multiple frames of timec ch morc dircct nd not rcally do you ve an cts crase T2 WCC The ausc T2 omes directly after T1.
