This could potentially be a good thing for the mother, or everybody is going to get brutally murdered, either way the kid is really good at dodging now.

I've heard 3 reasons.
1) zit's popular. This applies to literally every fandom for anything remotely popular ever, though.
2) Furries. I have seen people disregard this game as a furry game, despite only a handful of characters fitting that description.
3) Memes like this. Probably the most legit reason. There really are a shit ton of memes about this game that you don't see in other fandoms (to my knowledge; feel free to scream at me that I'm wrong)
