Spiders do not want to bother you. They would prefer to hide or run away when confronted and only bite when the two above options don't seem to be on the table. On the other hand, Mosquitos actively hunt you down. They will bite you and give you all sorts of diseases. Spiders eat mosquitos therefore, spiders are my friends
