Sectoid: "Yer pretty bad."

Surprisingly it actually has little to no fake difficulty. In truth, it just unapologetically punishes you for making clear, and obvious mistakes. The game simply doesn't pull it's punches.

Some people don't like the game for this reason because some just don't like admitting they screwed up, but would rather blame it on the game. However, those of us that like Xcom love it for that very reason cause it, much like dark souls, forces us to git gud and learn from our errors.
