Steven Universe - Serious Scene Redraws

I post on a site that regularly and consistently hates on SU's art style. I think I've finally found a good defense of it--it's a lot easier to tell what emotions the characters are supposed to be showing compared to this animu stuff.

the redraw are not expressive enough, kinda kills it.
