I'm not even going to link to the source because damn it does this kind of retroactive, overanalyzing, ideology-filtering b------- pisses me off. Plus the source of the reblog was one of the white hating, racist blogs featured in one of the Internet Aristocrat's Tumblr videos so screw 'em. Yeah, I know, not all of Tumblr is like this but too much of it is. Good lord. The sad fact that I found this on the YMMV article on TV Tropes shows how much that particular hugbox website is dangerously close to becoming the next Tumblr. Go to All The Tropes instead; unlike TV Tropes, they NEVER censor. Also, none of these people even mention that the antelope was only dating Johnny to "get back" at her crab boyfriend. So, you know, so much for full context. Yeah, Johnny Bravo was weird like that. I personally like the second and third seasons the most but I'm a heretic like that.

I'm not angry at people pointing out Johnny for being a dumb ass and just an ass.

That's the point and fun of the show.

I'm angry that to these people, EVERYTHING has to be some kind of political thing, or this "I can't enjoy this because [insert controlling ideology here]" nonsense.

Basically, rather than simply looking at the series as is (Johnny doesn't talk to women the right way and humorously pays the price for it), they're arguing over whether or not it's compatible with Feminism or leaving out context and at this point I just get disappointed that people are this entrenched in belief systems that nothing can ever be taken are face value anymore or that author's intentions somehow no longer matters.
