Literally any fandom that has a children making up a large part of it is bound to turn into cancer. Kids are inherently cringy because they lack the wisdom and talent to see what their creating is shit, SU has the added problem of it's appeal to special snowflakes and SJW's. Either way I don't think fandoms should apply to the quality of the original product, that being said FNAF was a game with mediocre gameplay but made up for it with semi interesting lore and secrets. Undertale was semi decent bullet hell, but it's story and characters were far better than the gameplay.

Undertale was relevant more recently.
