Sigh I am so sick and tired of those "The fandom ruined that character" posts. If you can't like a character because some peoples interprete it in a way you don't like, well you musn't enjoy a lot of things in life. How about just sticking to the source material and not partaking in the fandom and memes if you hate them so much?

The absolute BEST part about Sans is that the kind of character he actually is would be totally cool with any amount of fan bullshit. Sans is totally down with being mischaracterised, being the topic of constant shitposting, being the protagonist of really terrible fanfics and all that. Hell, if he was just a little less lazy, Sans himself would make terrible Sans memes. That's part of why I still like the guy, he's the only character I can think of who becomes better when you ruin him.
