Random thought: is Homeworld really running out of resources, or are they intentionally making Gems weaker (and dependent on Homeworld's technology) in order to prevent a Second Rebellion? Indeed, Peridot went for decades if not centuries not knowing that she had magnetic powers; her dependency on her limb enhancers stunted her natural abilities.

I like the idea of the cable fingers, the face however… it just feels off to me, maybe it's because of the gem placement, but then again, I don't feel that way with Jasper… don't know…
