Yeah I thought that too, and aren't the current Ms. Marvel and Squirrel Girl comics actually well liked overall? Hell the general agreement is that in spite of some of the SJW stuff being badly shoehorned into recent Marvel comics, the current Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan (a Muslim), is treated VERY respectfully by her writers.
