![Help] My girlfriend is refusing to talk me because I pretended to be dead after our car accident ohmanohnohman 2 days ago* relationship_advice 36% upvoted Late last week, my girlfriend and I were on our way back from dinner with her parents. She was driving. Pulling away from a stoplight, the two cars next to us slammed on their brakes but she didn't in time. We got hit by a drunk driver going 15 over the speed limit, right on my side. The impact was brutal but I knew right away that I was fine, we were in her 2018 BMW X6 I have no idea what made me do this- maybe it was the shock from the crash and having my entire world rocked in a flash of a second, but I decided to hang my mouth open and contort myself against the intruding door. When my girlfriend looked over, she was horrified and screamed nonstop for what felt like an hour. After a minute or so I snapped out of it and said "gotcha!" She instantly broke down and was inconsolable. After we were both given the all-clear from the hospital a few hours later, she refused to talk to me. It's been days now and she still won't speak to me. I know it was weird. I have no idea what made me do it. I wouldn't have ever done it normally.
