Splatoon - Salt

My headcanon is that the things Marina says are just from her being in Octoling culture for so long. When she's brutally honest "pearl your corporate shill game is on point today!" etc, she literally means no malice when she says it. But to us, it sounds like she's being "savage", but Marina meant it in the most innocent possible way. Same thing here. It sounds like Marina just made a fun internet "salt" joke, but she meant it as a serious question. It makes her character suddenly much deeper than just "Marie but an octoling".
