I think tumblr user "queerpropaganda" is perhaps biased toward a pro-queer narrative. You could be reading an unnecessarily deep meaning that isn't there.

Otherwise, they would have easily remembered and considered the fact that adults past 30/35 easily make friends with anyone regardless of gender, through family relatives' relatives, neighbors, your job, etc., but of course, their view is skewed exclusively to young adults and below and, for some reason, straight people.
