Maybe the reason why people are trying for a 15$ min wage is because its so hard to raise min wage at all. Costs of living increase every year but minimum wage doesn't. If the opposition fights just as hard against a proposed 50 cent increase as a $5 dollar increase then why wouldn't they try for as much as they can?
