No my objections aren't moral, they're personal. Catgirls make me uncomfortable. No... that's wrong. It'd be more accurate to say that I'm uncomfortable with how comfortable they make me. They were fine at first, when there was just a few thousand of them rescued from slavers and dumped in our colony. You'd see one around, here or there. Always pleasant, always helpful. They were short, polite and intensely non-threatening. You search for "inoffensive" on the net, and you get a picture of an catgirl. But catgirls can only give birth to more catgirls, and now they out number us. A threat? No, no. Nothing like that. Sure they're smarter than us, but that just makes them more useful. It's just that, well... You can't help but like them, and they can't help but like you. Part of that is behavioral; they adapt their conduct to whatever seems to please the people around them. Part of it is chemical; they've been engineered to give off attractive pheromones, and to be attracted to human pheromones. And don't get me started on their ears. Cute, delicate and so expressive. They need to make you happy, or just to touch you and be around you. Imagine living in a world filled with desperately needy girlfriends. It's f------ exhausting.
