Ridley is Too Big - WHAT NOW, "TOO BIG" KEKS?

According to all know laws of Smashing, there is no way Ridley should be able to be playable. The purple space dragon is characterized as being enormous, and would have to be a boss instead. The Sakurai, of course, makes Ridley playable anyway, because he doesn't care what fans think is impossible.
