This meme is going to require an explanation. Kaiserreich has generally had a politically diverse fanbase. Due to the prominence of Left-wing revolutionaries in the game, it has attracted a socialist part of the community. Due to the prominence of reactionary figures in the game, it has attracted a strongly anti-socialist part of the community. Despite the political divisions that run deep in a game about geopolitics, the community got along fine. Most fights were in protests to recent mod changes, and politics were just put aside as a feature of the game that people talked about. That is, until June of 2018, where one incident threw things out of whack.

u/TheRealDirtyDan, a user of r/Kaiserreich, made a post showing an in-game map. There was a (((triple parentheses))) in the title of the post, implying antisemitism. When he was asked why he featured something that the ADL classifies as a hate symbol, he responded with "idk lol just did it". However, two users (u/Terron7 and u/Jagiellonian) were able to uncover a post by u/TheRealDirtyDan where he was asked what kind of National-Populist he was, and he implied that he was a Nazi (National-Socialist).

As it turns out, the two users had u/TheRealDirtyDan 'tagged' as a Nazi (which was how they uncovered the quote). The majority of people believed that the whole tagging thing was wrong. r/Kaiserreich's leftist community said otherwise, believing that the censorship of Nazis is necessary, due to the violent ideology. Criticism came in the direction of the left, especially when it came to leftist history of armed revolution, and the idea that the community should target Communists, even though the left always called itself a core part of the community.

r/Kaiserreich, not wanting the drama to spread elsewhere and influence the community, decided to delete the comments that showed the argument. The moderation team tried to make sure everyone was silent about the drama. However, this meme was posted on r/KaiserreichCirclejerk, which has very limited moderation.
