Ruined?
My dude religion is one of those you cannot get rid of because in its absence people will adopt religious thinking to secular subjects.

To be fair, religious people all over the world have ruined any religion from ever being a legitimate movement again. So, it's more like both sides are somewhat equal now.

Well, i say somewhat equal. But atheism as a movement still has a few more thousands years of fucking up to do before it can be viewed as a equal in that regard.
