When you sail to a new land and then take all the natives' valuables, then establish an extremist monarchy based on principles of nazism. Then, you decide to expel them out of your land so you can establish agriculture, which is impossible because you have no major rivers or technology to use irrigation. Then, your polytheistic church becomes even more fused with the state and suddenly you start using this weird stuff called “mana," which is killing your land and you don't care. Then you discover even more natives to the south, but don't anschluss their land because they have a militaristic hierarchy that is eommumist is fanatic about war and kills their population slowly over thousands of years because our honor Then, the "queen" gets murdered by some native extremists living at the bordei, so you then lead a campaign to commit genocide. Then, your gods make the "king" disappear, fall in love with a native from somewhere and the extremists also kill your backup king but don't get genocided again, so your country becomes a sheer embarrassment but turns out your government fell apart and your nation becomes anarchic with faction fighting for supremacy. Then, you find out your "king" has had a kid with the princess of a native tribe, but they're your ally because those other natives tried killing them too. Because of this, technically those native lands aren't just your allies, but are intermarried and thus one country, which becomes even more ridiculous and complicated, so the government gives up and now your country discourages racism, so it's all okay
