Judges are held to a different standard because they should know the law, and how to handle legal proceedings. He used incorrect terminology in more than one situation, and also misrepresented evidence. These are things that its super important that judges don't do.

I'll give an example. Say you have witnesses claiming something, and you're saying the opposite. A lawyer for the defense or any judge would call these people "alleged witnesses" because that's law school 101. He just called them witnesses, which wouldn't be weird if you or I did but he's a lawyer. This should be routine. He also goes on to say that the "Witnesses who were there" said nothing happened, when what was true was that the alleged witnesses didn't recall specific events. Not recalling is very different from saying something didn't happen. A judge should know this. He's a bad judge. Regardless of his 17 year old shenanigans he is being bad at being a judge.

Oh, and its possible he's going to be found to have commit perjury over some really inconsequential statements that it would have totally okay if he had just said nothing at all. Its super important that judges, particular on the supreme court, take being sworn in as important.
