I figured that Gori and Washimi hated Resasuke because of how he look like and tried to discourage Retsuko from dating him even before she had the chance and that attitude is pretty much discrimination.

However, the fanbase followed suit without knowing that they SAME people which the artists were critizing.

After the first date, Gori and Washimi tried to put the blame in Resasuke for Retsuko's discomfort since she did mention he took the lead.
So, Washimi blamed Resasuke for dragging her everywhere and attempted to convince Retsuko to dump him by claiming he is not really handsome.
After that, she attempted to convince Retsuko to sing in protest against him, however Retsuko refused claiming she was happy.

I figured that Resasuke taking the lead would make him not used to see Retsuko from behind and it was in the clothing store which he finally
saw her wounds after she stomed off thinking he didn't liked her.

In reality, it was just a misunderstanding since Retsuko was discouraged to even inform her discomfort and mistakenly thought that Gori and Washimi were right about him.

That's exactly why Washimi and Gori appeared after Retsuko attempted to break their relationship since they decided to consult Resasuke and fix their mistake.
