The closer he gets to full power, the more dangerous his mere presence is. Once his power breaches 50%, all images, photographic or otherwise, of him in that state themselves exude power, causing physical pain to anyone who views them.
It is not known what threshold causes artistic depictions to become lethal, as artistic depictions would require an artist to be able to view Shaggy at that strength without dying, which is impossible.
