You know, last year I wouldn't have believed that Funimation's management was so poor, now I'm wondering how the hell they're going to stay afloat once this is over without massive apologies and cutting ties with Rial and Marchi (whose careers will definitely have taken hits over this)

Good point, but they did make tweets about the investigation and ending their relationship with Vic, which could be seen as insinuating guilt on Vic's part. There's also the fact that they openly said they would not condone any harassment yet did nothing to punish Rial or Marchi or anyone else to my knowledge for their actions. I mean, look at their twitters and tell me that's a woman who basically threatens to report anyone who questions her to homeland security is person you want working for you.

There's also Vic's claim that they fired him without giving him a chance to defend himself, yet they didn't actually cut ties with Scott Freeman, the actual sex offender, until he was proven guilty in court. So yeah, they gave an actual pedo more of a fair chance than they did Vic.
