Missing 2013 - 2013 vs 2019

Sure it was fun, still remember those days where I competed with my siblings in waking up early to use the computer first, Internet was new and fun, and the Government still doesn't give a shit about it. It still was the wild wild west of nerds and everyone had a fun time.
and for those triggered, yes I'm talking about 2007 and not 2013. 2013 is pretty much where everything started to go nosedive.

I still miss the days of 2010-2013.
Seeing 2013 as the dawn of SJWs,Cringe Culture,Hatedoms,Social Media becoming more trash each minute and memes lasting less and more weird, it's true.
But it was still a fun time,drama and politics weren't nearly as prevalent as they are right now.

On top of that the oversaturation in terms of content that you have nowadays was pretty rare.
Memes lasted longer,stuff made by a new fanbase was done slower and allowed you to enjoy it better.
Now it goes so fast that you get tons of fanart,porn,drama and controversies in just a week,it just sucks the fun out of it. Back then in 2008-2009,6 months of this was considered "short lived".

Speaking of art,I remember that certain NSFW artists weren't obnoxious as they're right now and "art police" was a joke,now everyone need to tell everyone to follow their standards.

I also miss those days when the only overused words that lost their meaning were either "retard" or "faggot".Sure it was dumb but I'll take it over the 1000 ones we have right now.
