The errors and malfunctions that have occurred so far have low replicability and a method to prevent issues is still unestablished. Additionally, it's still undetermined whether the source is the software or hardware However, looking back on previous popular games (Splatoon 2, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, etc.) there has never been such an explosion of reported errors before. And so the situation right now is that it's thought that Pokemon SWSH likely has some sort of problem. As of November 19, 2019, Nintendo, Gamefreak, and The Pokemon Company have yet to make an official statement on the matter. It is unknown when an official fix will be made, and in that time the number of players who sadly encounter defects will only increase. Is this bricking shit actually real or just some folks trying to make the games look even worse?
I don't see any of this stuff mentioned anywhere else other than 4chan and sometimes here. Even Reddit has seemingly stopped aknowledging the brick thing too after that hacker dude said it was all bullshit.

You'd think this would be much more widespread considering how well the game is selling. I wouldn't even be asking this if I weren't such a paranoid fuck.
