I'm not really angry at the character, he seems like a cool solid fighter (and thank GOD his down special isn't a counter again).
I think the issue is that it was just… underwhelming. After the last 4 DLC slots, reaching all over gaming and pulling great 3rd party character, even as far as Microsoft, expectations were high for what the last fighter will be. Theeeen it turned out to be another Fire Emblem character, and it's like, "Oh… okay then." It's like you're getting a week of fine cuisine for dinner, and on the final day you get a burger. A DELICIOUS burger, but a burger nonetheless.
But ey, that second fighter pass with SIX characters more than makes up for it… unless another FE game is announced.
