Brought late into the war by the Americans, and first deployed from the landing craft on the beaches of Normandy, this robot benefited from a design already tested by years of application in war. Originally intended to fulfill an anti-aircraft role, the Hausen was found to be an invaluable aid in the urban combat taking place on the long road to Berlin. Its four guns proved a boon to Allied troops with their ability to lay down a withering curtain of lead to tear through sniper roosts.
