We're now in a time where Grand Theft Auto fans don't know about the sixth star because GTA V removed it and that's all they've played in the series. But to be fair, GTA IV semi-removed it by making it utterly obsolete and no different from 5 stars anyway. I kind of miss having the entire fucking army going after you because you're that much of a threat. It doesn't feel the same now with only S.W.A.T. and FBI agents.

Six stars turned GTA into an actual horror game. Nothing was more terrifying than driving around a blind corner and running right into a god damn tank. GTA III was especially brutal as the soldiers carried M16s that fired faster than a minigun and could blow up a car in less than a second.
