No, she didn't misread. The first page says she's got somewhere important to be but she's running late. As far as I can tell from page 2, she's a member of a webforum called Suicide Cafe, and they're having an offline get-together at this place.

And if I'm reading it right, her name is Kirari Aokigahara -- which is an EXTREMELY dark joke, as if jokes about suicide weren't dark enough already.
