I don't think anything about this comic expresses anger, moreso just disappointment. Is it really worth aiming for mass appeal and pass production if it costs you to water things down so thin to appeal to the masses that you alienate what people loved about you to begin with? Why is watering down for mass appeal "bound" to happen?

the 2010s have been extremely rough for a lot classic video game franchises in particular.

-Wario Land is dead
-Golden Sun is long-forgotten
-Advance Wars still hasn't seen anything past the post-apocalypse
-Fire Emblem had a small scare, but miraculously survived.

And that's just Nintendo… the HANDHELD division.
Dear god have we lost so many comrades to the pay-to-win market. :'(
