Always go for the shitpost route. That way you can lampoon both sides.

I don't get how a kid like that (they're on their own and have their choice) would pick political extremism.

Left to their own devices, 14-year-old kids want to have fun. Shitposting, circlejerking, jerking off, getting their jollies off twitch e-thots, etc.

I genuinely believe one would only "choose" political extremism if coached/brainwashed by politburo-minded people, because no matter how you look at it and even from the perspective of those who profit/benefit the most from it, politics is an inherently unfunny subject.

I mean, you can make jokes about it but eventually you'll learn all of that was said and made in earnest. At that age I used to think communism was some made-up entity to teach kids the basics of good, evil and stupid. It doesn't help we still had OSPB books, an extinct discipline that existed for the sole specific purpose of preventing communism.
