This argument is a load of crock because ultimately it's a non-starter and thus not useful. Even if there were some form of "super-god" that made the one we think of, what about that fact would change literally anything about the situation in any meaningful way? If you have a faith, the one you believe in is the only one that's bothered to communicate their teachings to us, has a mythos, and gives us a moral guideline to follow. A theoretical "super-god" that's above that one but does none of those things might as well not exist just as much as something in our universe past the lightspeed horizon of our ability to perceive might as well not exist, because it's guaranteed that it will never affect us.
