Team Ninja being in lust is mainly due to Dead or Alive being arguably more famous for it's gratuitous use of jiggle physics than its fighting mechanics. Capcom is likely there because of characters like Morrigan, Felicia, and Lady Dimitrescu.

Sega being in "envy" might be a case of "Sega got envious of Nintendo's success in the 80s so when the 90s rolled around they felt the best way to market themselves was to attack the competition." Not just Nintendo, some of their Sega Saturn ads in Japan (the ones with Segata Sanshiro) took jabs at PlayStation.

Microsoft for "gluttony" is probably due to all their recent acquisitions of third parties. Within the past years they've bought companies like Zenimax/Bethesda (and any companies under that umbrella like Arkane and id Software), Ninja Theory, Double Fine, Obsidian, inXile, Mojang, and Compulsion Games.
