Just saw the context to Lilith's post, so here's what I have to say to her:
THANK. YOU. I'm goddamn tired of people selectively choosing who it is or isn't okay to be racist against. Adamantly judging all white people purely based on their ancestors is bs we see a million times;;, but hating everything japan to the point of completely degrading and lowkey bodyshaming a NON-japanese asian person who can't control her looks but is literally still a clear adult, and then dissmissing those who don't as mere "weebs" and comparing them to genuine pedo scum? NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT STUFF LIKE THIS.
Anime haters are so damn obnoxious. They legit make it a crime to have any bit of interest in anything even remotely japanese regardless of what it actually is, and a good amount will eat up what's pretty much the same crap but just for western crowds. I've seen sjws on twatter who straight up think all japanese people are basically whites, BUT EVERY OTHER ASIAN NATIONALITY HAS TO BE A MINORITY BECAUSE REASONS. I swear, dude, people are just abhorrent…

This works better with the contexted source. Someone on Twitter said that Japanese girls look like children, and some other one said that those who are attracted to them are basically pedophiles.

I would lie to you if I said this is the first time I see someone saying this. But it's not even close to be the stupidest thing I've read on Twitter
