My take with these things is, It is true that Government and mass media aren't always trustworthy, and caution and skepticism are good. But if you are going to be skeptical, dear god, at least be consistent with it, I mean, you can't trust the government, but random grifter #3467 should be believed immediately?

Basically that, I don't mind that people distrust the government, I mind when they distrust the government but trust some rando.

The implication is that if you don't have any actual knowledge of a subject, you shouldn't be offering your take on it.
