Willem Arondeus was a homosexual Dutch artist, author, and anti-Nazi fighter, who bombed the Amsterdam public records office to hinder the identification of Jews by the Nazis. He was arrested within a week and later executed. His last words were, "Let it be known Homosexuals are not cowards."
