Authoritarian Authoritarian I tell this story everytime one of these happens in America. I'm Canadian. My buddy moved once upon a time and I went to go visit him. When I punched his address in my GPS I mistakenly typed 256 instead of 257 (or something to that effect). I pulled in the driveway, shoot him a text, and he tells me the door is unlocked and I should just let myself in. I stroll into this random house like I f------ owned the place. Start calling my buddies name and after a few seconds a terrified looking old Asian couple comes from around the corner. Took a minute or two to figure out where I went wrong. We had a good laugh about it. ic- Stand your ground doesn't mean they'd |shoot you on sight, it means if you threatened their life they could. I'm glad you're okay, but you really should've been |more careful and it would've been acceptable for the women to have a firearm out for her own safety, even if she didn't end up having to use it.
